The New Benchmark for American Mountain Guides.
On a mission to become the first American to guide clients to the summits of all fourteen eight-thousand meter peaks. This has not been attempted before. At age 31, Benny is the foremost High Altitude Mountain Guide of his generation. During this journey, Benny plans to attempt solo climbs on forgotten faces of 8000m peaks in the best style: No oxygen and no rope.
Efficiency is everything. Climbing mountains is a delicate balancing act between ambition, pace, time, and the mountain itself. After a long cold night bundled up in my downsuit & big boots, the sun rises and reality sets in on just how well you’ve strategized your summit attack. It’s all about being in the right place at the right time- every time.
